I tried a search under "autism" without finding anything. Given that people with autism (now more numerous than ever) are greatly affected by sensory characteristics of environments (sound, lighting, for example), is there some way to represent these needs, which are often associcated with sensory sensitivities? Sound sensitivity, for example, is a big issue for people with autism and little is generally done to think about sound impacts in design. Physical design of space and materials that damp down sound are tremendously helpful--in schools, restaurants, etc. As a parent of a son with autism, I can attest to what a huge consideration this is in terms of ability to be in an environment. Any thought to this or other needs in the area of autism? Would love to see this represented. The number of people with autism now is huge; but even if it weren't, it would be a need. Thanks for any future thought and planning around this. Vear
